About Us
1994
John started his career in construction as a carpenter’s helper for his father’s company Edelweiss Custom Homes in Fredericksburg TX.
2001
On March 2nd Like Father Like Son Remodeling was opened in Austin TX.
1999
After the retirement of John’s father, he worked days with another remodeling company and attended ACC at night. For two years John studied Construction Methods & Materials and Construction Management and completed certificates in both courses.
2007
The word Remodeling in the company name was replaced with Construction. The company was Incorporated as Like Father Like Son Construction LLC.
2008
Like Father Like Son Construction was involved in a joint venture and built its first speck home at 303 W Annie in Austin TX.
2013
After years of recession Like Father Like Son Construction still stood strong. This was a big year for the company. LFLSC was able to reestablish itself in the custom home market and moved its office to the San Marcos/ Wimberley area.
2020
Present day. This has been a hard year for the entire world. Classified as an essential business, Like Father Like Son Construction has continued to offer its services in a respectful and safe manor.
